Carbonatite complexes of the South Urals: geochemical features, ore mineralization, and geodynamic settings

The article presents the results of study Ilmeno-Vishnevogorsky and Buldym carbonatite complexes in Urals. It has been established that carbonatites complex are represented by high-temperature calciocarbonatites (sövites I II) with pyrochlore ore mineralization. U-Ta-rich populations uranium pyrochlores (I) fluorocalciopyrochlores (II) crystallize miaskite-pegmatites sövites I; (III) Sr-REE-pyrochlores (IV) late form II. In complex, along containing fluorocalciopyrochlore (III), medium-temperature varieties magnesiocarbonatites REE-Nb mineralization (monazite, niobo-aeschynite, columbite, etc.) widespread. Miaskites Urals characterized high contents LILE (Sr, Ba, K, Rb) HFSE (Nb, Ta, Zr, Hf, Ti), which close to rift-related intraplate settings significantly differ from synorogenic collisional complexes. Ural formed on continental rift margins during opening Ocean at time transition extensional compressional tectonics. Later on, they were captured deformed suture zone as a result collision. Plastic brittle deformations, anatexis, recrystallization rocks ores associated orogenic post-collision settings.
